About SUSRUSHA

Susrusha is a registered society working for the diverse field of socio economic development and conservation of biodiversity, Agriculture, Financial Inclusion and Ancient Indian Culture and Tradition in North Eastern part of India since from initiation 2000.

There are many more pressing challenges that North East India faces today, lack of education, large back ground population, poor economy, gender discrimination, numbers of health problems etc. Moreover at no other place in India, is this challenge to conserve natural resources more serious than in the North – East India, which is transitional zone of Indo- China, Indian and Indo-Malayan flora and fauna that has led to global recognition.

In spite of having huge resources, we yet poorly understood the basic utilization capacity. We face extensive degradation in all fields, although every independent society in 21st century deserves equitable distribution and implementation of each and every development policies & activities.

Keeping these challenges in vision, Susrusha has coined a number of programmers to cater to the needs of the society to address crucial Socio- Economic, Health & Environment issues, more briefly integration of women with providing equal opportunities, welfare of children, empowerment of adolescent girl, prevention and eradication of all forms of discrimination towards them. Further promotion and development of agriculture and allied fields, entrepreneurial development, Educational up gradation, health care activities, including sustainable development and biodiversity conservation.
