WORLD'S LONGEST SRIMADBHAGWADGEEA

Inspired by the world's heaviest Srimadbhagwadgeeta (800 kgms, 8 Feet high) placed in Iscon Temple, Delhi & prepared in Milaan City of Itley at a cost of Rupees Two Crore, inventor of Eternal calendar,(a calendar  for Present, past and crores of future years) 73 years old, Advocate, Panjab  and Haryana High Court Chandigarh Madan Mohan Vats o has come out with World's longest Srimadbhagwadgeeta written by him on 15 mm wide VCR Cassette ribbon measuring1365 meters , weighing 510 gms only. The total length of the tape and the time taken in writing the material was noted down.

700 shalokas of all the 18 Chapters of Srimadbhagwadgeeta &  each Sanskrit shaloka followed by its verse,  written by world known saint Geeta Manishi, Maha Mandleshwar,  Swamy Gyananand Ji including the brief thoughts of 20 eminent thinkers like Mahatma Gandhi, Madan Mohan Malviya, Balgangadhar & Lokmanya Tilak etc etc. have been written by Mr. Vats with acrylic Colour and triple zero brush by devoting 905 working hours. He used 10 VHS cassettes to complete the job.It would not be out of place to mention here that Mr. Vats is a myopic patient and is unable to read and write clearly, yet he has done the great job. According to him, it would not have been possible for him if Lord Krishna had not given  him DIVYA DRISHTI to undertake the job.

To make the Geeta  readable, the ribbon passes through a specially designed double acrylic sheet ( 2 inch wide and one feet  long",  standing on a vertical stand. The speed of the ribbon can be controlled by two 12 Volts motors & can be fast forwarded , rewinded and stopped as per one's convenience . Initially the cassettes were mounted on two vertical stands. But now mr. vats has redesigned his gadget . To read horizontally the cassettes are kept in a vertical position and to read it in standing position, the cassets are kept in laying position on this stand.

Mr. Vats has a passion to present Geetaji in different forms. Earlier he presented all the  700 Shlokas  of the Geeta in Sanskrit on 44" x 29" single paper sheet & then on a sheet of 29" x 14" in Verse form. The other presentation is a print of all the shalokas on artificial peepal tree leaves tucked on artificial tree.

Mr. Vats hopes that very shortly, he is going to present Geetaji on actual & real peepal tree leaves in the form of 3.5 feet high book, perhaps  may be the worlds thickets  book and then tucking them on a 9-10 feet high tree whose hight can be increased to ant extent , having 18 branches made out of Saw dust.

Mr vats is a retired person from Govt of India, Ministry of Labour, Labour Bureau, Chandigarh He is also a renowned Theatre Artist of Chandigarh. He is  one of the 10  members  of The Tribune Family Genius Club  Chandigarh, who  were selected after conducting 11 open quiz contests  through the Tribune  in a year.
