Dr. Umesh BS is the Managing Director of the Agni Ayurveda Peedom School of Ayurveda & Yoga Research Center. Hailing from the serene village of Mayyanad in Kollam, Kerala, India, Dr. Umesh has deep roots in traditional Ayurvedic practices, owing to his upbringing in a Vaidya family. From a young age, he was immersed in the principles of marma and Ayurveda, guided by his mother, a healer and astrologer renowned for her holistic treatments.
Dr. Umesh’s formal journey in holistic health began with a Diploma in Natural Cure and Yogik Science in 2007. He furthered his expertise by earning a Master of Yoga teacher from Yoga Alliance International in 2016 and studying Kalari Marmma at Gurukula Vidyalaya in 2017. His academic achievements culminated in a Doctorate in Alternative Medicine from the International Peace University and also having TCHP (Traditional community health provider)With over a decade of experience, Dr. Umesh specializes in bone alignment therapy and Ayurveda medicine preparation. He is recognized as a Traditional Community Health Provider by the Quality Council of India.
